 WHERE TO FIND THE SETTING?

UABB – Particle Backgrounds is available with all existing Beaver Builder background options like row, column background. To set the particle background for a row, edit the row, go to the Particle Backgrounds tab.

Below are the available options with UABB – Particle Backgrounds :

 INBUILT STYLE OPTIONS – POLYGON / NASA / SNOW / CUSTOM

Some default styles are available for particle backgrounds. You can choose any prebuild style or can design your own custom style. The custom styling feature is explained later in this article.

 PARTICLE LAYOUT AND CUSTOMIZATION CONTROLS

The selected background style can be completely customized. You can set more specific settings from Advanced Settings. Available settings are –

ColorOpacityFlow DirectionNumber of ParticlesParticle SizeMove Speed etc.

 INTERACTIVE BACKGROUND

Enabling this effect will generate an interactive effect on mouse hover like shown below. To enable this effect go to Advanced Settings > Enable Hover Effect. Note that hover effects can be viewed in the frontend only.

 CUSTOM/PERSONALIZED PARTICLES BACKGROUND STYLE

Apart from the default particles style, you can design your own style with different shapes, sizes, density, etc. Here is the detailed document that shows how to add a custom style.

How to Set Categories for Videos?

Video Gallery Module provides the feature to create a filterable gallery. The category names that are set to video will display as Filterable Tabs title. See How to Design Filterable Image Gallery?

Categories can be assigned to videos while adding or after adding them to the Video Gallery module. Here are the steps –

Step 1 – Select a video from the list and click on Edit Video.

Step 2 – Categories option will appear in the individual video settings box. You can add more than one category separated by a comma.

How to Show Video Category on Hover?

Styling Checkbox / Radio / Acceptance controls in WPForms Styler module

Have you ever wanted to style the checkboxes, radio buttons of the acceptance control in a WPForms? This is made possible with the WPForms Styler module of the Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder!

Before we move on to the styling, please make sure you can see the WPForms Styler module in the module list. If not, refer to the article here.

The next thing you』ll want to do is enable WPForms』 built-in GDPR enhancements.

To do this, go to WPForms » Settings and click the 『GDPR Enhancements』 checkbox. This will turn on specific GDPR features that you can use to help with GDPR compliance.

Once you click this checkbox, you』ll be able to add a GDPR Agreement field to your site』s forms and customize it to meet your needs.

You can style these controls by following the steps mentioned below.

Go to the Content panel of the WPForms Styler -> Input Style tab -> Input Border Style Section -> Use Custom Style Option. You can then make changes as per your requirements.

How to update UABB?

The two main methods to update UABB are:

One Click Auto UpdateManual Update

1. Go to Dashboard -> Updates

You will find the update listed below. If not, you can click on Check Again button.

2. Click on Update

Note: Your copy of UABB should be registered in order to receive the one click updates. To know more about UABB registration, you can refer to the article here.

Manual Update

1. Login to our store and open the Downloads page.

2. Download the latest version from this page

3. Uninstall the previous version from your website (Deactivate and Delete)

4. Install the Latest version of the addon.

Automatic Background Updates

Automatic background updates do not require any action from your end to update the plugin and as the name suggests – everything happens in the background. By default, this only happens in special cases, which is controlled by the WordPress security team for patching critical vulnerabilities.

In case, if you would like to enable Automatic Background Updates for all plugins and themes on your website, you can install this plugin on your website.

If you would like to enable Automatic Background Updates only for UABB, you can paste this PHP code snippet in the function.php file of your child theme.

How to Disable the White Label Settings Permanently?

Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder allows you to white label the plugin and show it as your own. You can read our white label settings article to know more.

Normally, the white label settings can be hidden by checking the respective box on the settings page. But, if your customer deactivates & activates the plugin then those settings are visible again.

To avoid this and for adding extra security layer you can hide the White Label settings completely by declaring below constant in the wp-config.php file at the root of your WordPress installation.

Once this is done, the White label settings will be hidden forever.

UABB Advanced Posts Custom Posts Layout shortcodes and usage?

Facing any difficulty while using shortcodes in the Advanced Posts』 Custom Post Layout?

You will have to use the Beaver Builder Shortcodes that will help you insert post data and metadata.

Firstly, you will need to select the Custom option from the Post Layout. You will then find the Custom Post Layout option appear below. You can take a look at the screenshot.

Here is how the default Layout looks when you click on the Edit Custom Post Layout link seen in the previous screenshot.

Note:- The Custom Post Layout option is only available while the Beaver Themer plugin is installed and activated.

As you can see, there is a connection field available inside the custom layout. Using this, you can render the dynamic fields data. You will need to click on the plus Icon and use the required option from the dropdown to connect or insert the dynamic fields.

You can also find custom, WooCommerce and Advanced Custom Fields dynamic connections if the respective WooCommerce Plugins and ACF plugin is installed and activated.

The values in the Connect and Insert fields for Advanced Custom Fields will be displayed in a separate window where you will need to choose the Field Type and enter the custom field name so that they can be rendered accordingly.

How to trigger a Modal Popup on the click of an Interactive Banner 2 and from a text of any module』s text editor?

Have you ever faced any difficulty while triggering modal popup from Interactive Banner 2 on responsive devices?

You can trigger a Modal Popup on Small Devices as you do on large devices, just follow the steps mentioned below to achieve this requirement.

To open modal popup on click of Interactive Banner 2 on responsive devices

Step 1. Add a custom class in the Interactive Banner 2 Module』s Advanced Tab.

Step 2. In the Modal Popup module』s Custom Class/ID append the 「.uabb-ib2-outter」 to your custom class i.e .open-popup.

This setting will trigger the Modal popup on an image click of an Interactive Banner 2 on a mobile device. And thereby ensuring that popup is working properly on all the devices.

How to open modal popup on click of content (specific word/line of texts) in the text editor of any module

You can trigger modal popup on content (word/sentence)  or trigger from any BB / UABB module』s text editor with UABB Modal Popup.

Step 1. Add a custom class to the required Module』s Advanced Tab.

Step 2. Assign another custom class to the word/sentence which is required to trigger a modal popup from the text editor.

Step 3. In the Modal Popup module』s Custom Class/ID add both the classes in the following sequence.

The first class will be the custom class of that particular module and the second one will be used to trigger the word/sentence.

Publish these settings and now the popup will be triggered on that word/sentence from any module』s text-editor.

For opening a Modal Popup on Dual Button you would need to follow steps mentioned above and just add the classes in the following manner -> https://goo.gl/bXKAp3 and -two for the second modal Popup.

Note:- You can trigger the Modal Popup from any other module, you just need to check for the class from the Browser』s inspector on which class the Modal popup needs to be triggered.

Unable to See CF7 Styler and Gravity Forms Styler module

Please make sure following things on your website –

1. You have installed minimum version 1.5.0 or greater of Ultimate Addons

2. You have installed & activated Gravity Form plugin for Gravity Forms Styler and Contact Form 7 plugin for CF7 Styler modules.

3. Gravity Form Styler and CF7 Styler module is enabled in UABB Modules settings

4. Gravity Form Styler and CF7 Styler module is enabled in Beaver Builder Module settings

How to open a modal popup from another module?

The Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder comes with a modal popup module that can be displayed automatically, or on the click of a button, text, image, or through any other module.

In order to display a modal popup from another module, you will have to use a unique class name or ID that is shared between the Modal popup and the respective module.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

1. In the Modal popup settings, under the Display settings tab, select to display the popup on a Custom Class / ID.

2. Enter the unique class name in the text box below.

Note: Add a 「.」 before a class name and a 「#」 before an ID.

3. Make sure the same class name is entered in the Advanced Settings tab of the module you wish to use.

Note: DO NOT add a 「.」 before a class name and a 「#」 before an ID.

This method will display the modal popup on the click of the button or link in the other module.
